Personal Background and Goals
My name is Lee Dulgeroff, I am running for Palomar Community College Board - District 4
I grew up right here in North County my family moved here when I was in 5th grade.
Years ago, I took classes at a community college that I couldn’t get at San Diego State. My sister became a registered nurse at Palomar and my daughter attended classes at Palomar Community College. Community college made a positive difference in my life and the lives of my family members.
Palomar College prepares students for higher education and plays a vital role in expanding middle class career and lifelong learning opportunities. In these challenging economic times, we need Community Colleges more than ever as people of all ages educate themselves for the changing needs of our economy.

My three primary goals are:
-
Improve and expand access to education opportunities, for students of all ages
-
Keep education affordable for students and their families
-
Expand connections between Palomar College and local businesses and skilled trade apprentice programs
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Computer Information Systems.
As a senior executive in the San Diego Unified School District I oversee projects that provide students with high quality innovative learning environments. I will bring proven management experience and budgetary knowledge to the Palomar College Governing Board.
I support student-centered educational opportunities and a debt-free community college education.
I will advocate for students, giving them educational choices so they can quickly enter the workforce or transfer to universities.
